FdSc in Sustaining the Built Environment
Progress to date - 22nd June 2005.
WeymouthCollege is developing a Foundation Degree in Sustaining the Built Environment for September 2006 start with the help of Aim Higher funding. The progress to date is as follows:
- Student survey document completed
- Student survey to be handed out to all level three courses in Construction and results to be collated - week beginning 4th July 2005
- Programme of units identified and mapped
- Proposal Submission Completed and approved for validation with PACE at BournemouthUniversity
- Increased breadth and numbers on the industrial panel. Next Industry Advisory panel to take place in September 2005 with Unit Specification
- Meeting arranged with University of Plymouth for 11th July 2005
- Units mapped to show progression to University of Plymouth onto the following level H courses:
BSc (Hons) Building Surveying and the Environment.
BSc (Hons) Construction Management and the Environment
BSc (Hons) Environmental Construction Surveying.
- Employer questionnaire to be completed and set by 4th July 2005
- HE Leaflet for the course is currently being produced ready for August 2005 and publicised on Aim Higher website
